The fjörds in Northwestern to North Iceland are supposedly nothing spectacular, but the landscapes are still striking, and the weather is already much improved over Reykjavík and the Southwest. Even dealing with the country girls in Brú -- in order to get my kokomjólk (chocolate milk) -- makes the unavoidable drive around Hrútafjörður pleasant, a reminder of tiny waystations in remote parts of Wyoming.
