S O U T H   I C E L A N D

A waterfall to upper left tumbles from the eroded land above Nupsstaður farm (``peak stead"), a farm with buildings dating from the early 1800s. As the Ring Road nears Southern and Southwestern Iceland again, rain pops up more frequently, leaving behind the clear weather of the North and East.
